First opened in 1914, Sonbern Lodge has been a welcome haven for many travelers. Over the years the building has under gone many changes and now offers Quality accommodation. All rooms have ensuite, aircond. TV, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities as standard features.

The Motel wing, built in 1985, compliments the original building and is located at the rear of the property and adjacent to the car park. These units offer a Deluxe level of accommodation and open into the courtyard garden. They include microwave & toaster and a larger bathroom.

Sonbern Lodge, originally built as a Guesthouse, is presently Wallaroo’s only true Motel. This Grand historic building has spent its days providing only  accommodation and good hearty meals. A cooked or continental breakfast is still available in the Dining Room daily, or upon request a breakfast tray can be delivered  to your unit.
