Riverbank Houseboats

Our houseboat LADY MUK is moored at Renmark in the Riverland region of South Australia .

Renmark is located approximately 250 kilometres east of Adelaide, an easy 3  hour drive, or about 1½ hours drive west of Mildura.

You can bring all your provisions with you or you may choose to stock up in one of Renmark's modern and competitively priced supermarkets.

If you have forgotten to bring something there is every chance you will be able to obtain it in the Riverland.

Once on board your travel choice is simple. Upstream will take you past historic Chowilla Station and woolshed, through Lock 6 and the world renown BOOKMARK BIOSPHERE. Then onto the Old Customs House and into Victoria and NSW if you so desire.

Down stream will take you through Lock 5 and past small river settlements. You will be made welcome at the Major Riverland towns of Berri and Loxton for shopping, dining, winery tours or sporting activities.

Either way, your choice will be rewarding.
