Nether Hill Farm is one of the oldest farms in South Australia. It was given as a land grant to William Lillecrapp in the 1840s. Originally the property was 400 acres and the first crops grown here were apples and pears.
Between 1983 and 2006 strawberries were the main focus. Early in 2007 the property was sold to its 4th owner and it is now being developed as an organic farm. The initial focus is on organically grown vegetables and berries to be sold mainly from the farm shop. The first fruit trees have been planted and a variety of fruit will be available in the future.
The property now hosts a Bed and Breakfast in the original section of the Nether Hill homestead built in the 1840s. The pergola, extensive lawn areas and fern garden are available for functions and picnics.
