Binnowee B&B

Surrounded by natural bushland, Binnowee B&B is in a quiet rural setting but close to all amenities.

The guest accommodation is a spacious 3 room suite with private entrance and undercover parking.  The large, romantic bedroom with beautiful King Size bed has an ensuite bathroom, luxurious bed linen and towels, bath robes and eco friendly toiletries supplied for guest use. The large cozy lounge has a wood heater and R/C air conditioning, flat screen TV, DVD/CD player, a selection of movies and CD’s, books and games to choose from.  Enjoy a port & chocolates while watching a movie in front of the wood heater.

There is a sofa bed in the lounge, which can be made up for 1 or 2 children and a portacot is also available.

A delicious home cooked breakfast using organic products and eggs from our own happy chooks is served in the separate guest dining room or outside under the trees where you can enjoy the views. There is a microwave oven in the dining room which guests are welcome to use.

On arrival, guests are invited to enjoy an afternoon tea on the spacious deck area or you may choose to have a glass of wine and cheese platter.

A BBQ is available for guest use and BBQ packs can be supplied by prior arrangement.

Binnowee is an Aboriginal word meaning “place of many birds” and there are many varieties to look out for.  Kangaroos are frequent visitors, koalas also visit from time to time and ring tailed possums can often be spotted in the evening.

Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.

Being in a central location, Binnowee is an ideal place to base yourself for a few days to visit the local attractions, including:

  • Warrawong Santuary
  • Eco Platypus Tours
  • Cleland Wildlife Park
  • Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens
  • Historic Hahndorf
  • Art and craft shops
  • Country markets
  • Cellar door wineries
  • Many great cafes and restaurants

The Heysen Trail is just across the road and there are some lovely walking areas to enjoy.  McLaren Vale, Strathalbyn and Langhorne Creek are an easy drive away.
