Barley Stacks is the first commercial vineyard to be established in the traditional barley belt of the Yorke Peninsula, South Australia, renown for growing the world’s best malting barley.
Rich grey soil over limestone, with a low but certain 16” rainfall, combined with a warm maritime climate, increased row spacing, heavy mulching, bird net protection, hand-pruning and hand-picking has contributed to the production of premium quality fruit.
Home of the ‘Barley Stacks’ Shiraz, Cabernet, Chardonnay, Viognier, Port, Liqueur Chardonnay and Ratafia’s, truly unique estate grown wines. All wines are grown, processed and bottled on site. The Function Centre is available for hire, for wedding receptions, conferences, social events and meetings. Annual events include: Wine and Roses weekend (April) and Gourmet Day (July).
