Almond Grove Bed & Breakfast

Almond Grove Bed & Breakfast is located at Stacey Studio Gallery at 17 Harriet Street, situated off North Parade on the rural edge of Strathalbyn. Antique and craft shops, restaurants and coffee shops are five minutes walk away.

Almond Grove is in an early settled area of the town, with narrow lanes and many old stone cottages. The home’s return-style design echoes features of early buildings.

As the name suggests the home’s cottage garden is within an old almond grove with numerous trees that blossom in late winter. The nearby creek ensures abundant bird life.

Guests may choose to have the venue to themselves or be home hosted. The guest room features a king-size bed that can be converted to two single beds.

Delight in refreshments on arrival, a spa bath, patio and BBQ and a hearty country-style hot breakfast while enjoying original art works, family antiques and treasures.

Guests have a unique opportunity to meet an artist in her home environment and see work in progress in the studio. Some guests enjoy painting their own silk scarf.
